About Me

Welcome to our blog!! This is a blog about our life, mostly from Jennifer's perspective. We were married in July 2007 at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas and then sealed together for eternity in the Albuquerque New Mexico Temple in June 2009. We welcomed Ms. Ellie Sophia into our lives on February 9, 2010 and she is absolutely the light of our lives. Then we added Silas Ian on January 4, 2013 and his smile just brightens our days. We live in Rio Rancho, New Mexico where Justin works as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and I pursue my PhD in Nursing while being a stay at home mom! Life is so chaotic but we really couldn't ask for a more perfect life!

2011 Halloween at Disneyland: Part 1

We headed to Los Angeles for Justin to attend the American Psychiatric Nurses Association conference. Some time ago he was selected as a Janssen Scholar which provided him with full funding to attend this conference which was held at ......DISNEYLAND!!! We couldn't pass up a free trip to Disneyland!! So.....we headed back for our 2nd annual Disneyland Halloween!!

I swear that Disney lets more and more people in each year to the Not-so-scary-Halloween party - this place was packed out!!! We waited in line for 45 minutes for a pic with Mickey and Minnie but it was totally worth it to hear Ellie yell "Mickey" when we finally got to him!!
