About Me

Welcome to our blog!! This is a blog about our life, mostly from Jennifer's perspective. We were married in July 2007 at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas and then sealed together for eternity in the Albuquerque New Mexico Temple in June 2009. We welcomed Ms. Ellie Sophia into our lives on February 9, 2010 and she is absolutely the light of our lives. Then we added Silas Ian on January 4, 2013 and his smile just brightens our days. We live in Rio Rancho, New Mexico where Justin works as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and I pursue my PhD in Nursing while being a stay at home mom! Life is so chaotic but we really couldn't ask for a more perfect life!

Christmas in January....

We didn't actually HAVE Christmas in January, but this post is of Christmas and it is now January. I would explain to you the reasons for my decreased postings, however it is rather boring and has everything to do with the fact that the IT people at UNM are dumb and changed the settings on my UNM laptop (My RWJF one) and I cannot upload pictures from my phone....so there!

Christmas was so wonderful and it was nice to have our first Christmas with Ellie and she was such a little delight! She didn't really care for opening the presents but she did seem to get pretty darn excited once the contents were revealed!! She made out like a bandit, and boy did she need it because she had very few toys.

We made cookies and left them out for Santa the night before!!



Then we all headed to bed.....and when we woke up the following morning many treasures greeted us!!
Including a handwritten letter from Santa himself:


Then the girl hit up her loot!!
