7 weeks old!!

We have been super busy as of late - trying to finish up school, completing clinical hours, still adjusting to this parenthood thing and planning for our little family's future. We found out this past week that Justin was accepted into the University of Utah's Nurse Practitioner programs (which has one of the top nursing programs in the country) and I was accepted into UNM's Phd program. In addition to the Phd program I was offered the Robert Wood Johnson Fellowhip which pays for tuition/books/fees as well as a generous stipend, and it provides for a laptop, printer, software, etc....that I will need throughout the program. We are so excited as this will mean great things for our little family in the future, and helps ensure that we will be financilly solvent for the years to come. This is SUPER exciting given that we've been living off of air and love for the past 16 months!!

Ellie is growing sooooo fast and it is unbelievable that she is already 7 weeks old! Here are some quick pics of her from the week!! We love you lady!!
