9 and 3/4 weeks: Staycation and Winona the Horse

WINONA: Here is Ellie and her new friend "Winona the Horse" - I guess she likes how soft it is?!?



STAYCATION: We decided to see how Ellie would do "Traveling" since we are going to be going to Utah so much for Justin's school. We stayed in a hotel to test her out and she did great. No crying, no fits, and she didn't mind being in a new environment. She even liked her BIG bed!!

Ellie is now 10 weeks old and is truly becoming so much more aware of ger surroundings. She is grabbing things and holding them!! We got Ellie this cute monkey before she was born and she just met "Miles" the Monkey a few short days ago and here is documentation of that meeting

Bath Time!!

I've had these pictures forever, but am just getting around to putting them up! Ellie LOVES to take baths and does really well with them - it's just the after part (when she is cold!) between the bath and the towel that she hates - but who doesn't!!!

9 weeks old

It is official our little one is getting older and there is nothing we can do about it!! I'm always telling Justin that I am so excited for Ellie to get older so we can see her accomplish her various milestones, but I am also so sad that my little baby is growing so very fast.

This week she is 9 weeks old and she had her first outing and went to see her doctor to get her first set of shots - here are the pics from the week!!

The doctor said that Ellie is in the 25% for her weight, 75% for her height and 50% for her head circumference. She is also ahead with how far/long she can lift up her head and rolling over (which she did for the first time 4/11/2010!!). She is also smiling up a storm and even giggles every now and again.

She took her shots like a champ - she cried but it didn't last long and after a long afternoon nap she was good to go!
