Harvest Festival -- Corrales

This weekend we headed out to Corrales to check out their little Harvest Festival. It is such a shame that we have lived so close for so long and this is the first time we are checking it out. They had a ton of vendors, yummy food, live music, hay rides, and a pumpkin patch. We opted out of the hay ride and pumpkin patch because we will be going to another one soon (didn't want to overdo it!).

Ellie enjoyed listening to all the music and we, as usual, enjoyed the tasty treats!

Dinosaur Museum --- Take 2

As promised we convinced dada to head over to the dinosaur museum with us and we took Ellie May with us as well.....

Apparently the T-rex exhibit and the other robotic dinosaurs will be leaving soon --- so it was a good thing we got to see them twice!!

Ellie the Explora

Decided to take Ellie to the Explora Science Center to see what they have going on there. Ellie really enjoyed herself here and there were tons of things for her to do. If I would have let her she would have stayed a few more hours!!

This was her absolute favorite thing.....

 She actually discussed if the bearded dragon like her outfit and then ended the conversation by telling him/her that she loved him.

She definitely enjoyed it here and we have found another little gem where we can have fun!

Dear Silas

Dear baby,

You have definitely made this an easy pregnancy for me, in term of my own physical health, however you have presented some challenges in terms of my mental health! Early on there was some question about your kidney functioning and we continue to go for ultrasounds to determine if they are growing and forming as they should. Apparently this condition could mean a variety of things – none of which have really been discussed with us yet. Whatever the outcome you will be ours and we will be yours. However healthy you are, whatever needs you may have and what struggles may arise will be faced together. You have been given to us as a little miracle and we are so excited to have you in our lives whatever may come.

Salsa Festival and State Fair

This weekend there were several activities going on in the ABQ. We took Ellie to the Salsa Festival however it was not super interesting to her but she did enjoy the music for a bit....

Since this was somewhat of a bust we headed on over to the state fair and she had a better time here!
