ABQ Playroom

We recently discovered a little gem hidden away in the many shops along Paseo - ABQ playroom is a nice little oasis from the heat for us. It has a ton of different toys, games and a huge indoor slide that Ellie loved using. They also have a variety of enrichment activities throughout the week like character meet & greets, Kindermusik, Baby sign language and other courses for older children. The only downfall is that it is quite out of the way however Ellie really seems to have a good time so we will suck it up!!

All in all it is a few dollars well spent each visit because she has a ton of new stuff to do, can interact with fellow little ones and it has air conditioning!



Riding the carousel

Decided to let Ellie try her hand at riding the Carousel at the mall - which she had a blast doing. She is an old pro at riding the Carousel but I thought it was something fun and somewhat out of the ordinary to try out. We then grabbed a quick lemonade at Hot Dog on a Stick and called it a day!

Pretzels....Doughnuts

We took Ellie to watch them make doughnuts and to purchase a few at Krispy Kreme. She LOVED watching them flip and get drizzled with glaze. She was laughing, pointing and was ubber delighted to eat one. Here are a few shots from the fun!

Haircut

We decided to take Ellie to dada's barber for her second haircut and she seemed to do just as well with her....

The girl LOVES haircuts!!! Even though she had a haircut before she still got a certificate for her haircut plus a lollipop so she was pretty stoked. I think we will keep coming back to Randy's Barber shop (for ease) given that she had such a great experience.

A crazy day in April

This month has been so weird and crazy in terms of weather -- the beginning of the month we saw snow and a few days later we were playing outside and having fun in the warmth of the sun!??!

 

Following our fun in the sun we grabbed a bite to eat at Sam's club -- this girl does love herself a good hot dog!

 

 

Then we headed home and caught up on our chores

 

 

We had a great day in spite of the ever changing weather!! Here's to warmer days ahead!!
