Cowgirl

A weekend ago or so we tried a new restaurant in Santa Fe called Cowgirls....we were hesitant, but it was a really neat experience. The decor is completely...well...cowgirl-esque and they had live country music playing. The girl LOVED the music and spent much of her time dancing in her seat, and the rest of the time she spent waving and saying hello to everyone and their mother. She had the waitresses, patrons, and managers coming to talk to her and dance with her - that girl!!

The food was SUPER tasty and we will definitely be heading back - in spite of the fact that it is in Santa Fe :)

Then we head out to the "Outlet Mall" --- which is barely a mall.....but it was something to do!

The girl loved walking around with her bear pack....and she slept all the way home...bonus!

I get by with a little help from my friends....

We don't tend to buy Ellie a lot of toys because she is typically done with them in a few minutes. She has a moderate stash down stairs (which drives Justin insane!!), in her room, and her playroom is pretty barren. I did get her a few "splurges" and she has loved them!!



This monstrosity was $20 at Sam's Club -- $20!!! It's huge she loves to lay on it and drink her juice/water/milk and watch a few seconds of cartoons!

Sorry.....due to a snafu with my account size I had to change some settings on the blog,  which occurred during the middle of my previous post!!  As an aside, when we got home from the aquarium I realized I had gone all over town with my cardigan inside out........Yup.

Aquarium and Botanic Park

Today I decided to take Ellie on a little excursion to the Aquarium, and thought that it would likely not be super busy because it is a school day and we went in the morning. Wouldn't you know - Albuquerque schools were closed for Parent-Teacher Conference AND Rio Rancho schools had sent a bunch of kids there on a field trip!! I can't win for trying.....however Ellie had fun and really enjoyed watching all the kids....I mean fish!
