About Me

Welcome to our blog!! This is a blog about our life, mostly from Jennifer's perspective. We were married in July 2007 at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas and then sealed together for eternity in the Albuquerque New Mexico Temple in June 2009. We welcomed Ms. Ellie Sophia into our lives on February 9, 2010 and she is absolutely the light of our lives. Then we added Silas Ian on January 4, 2013 and his smile just brightens our days. We live in Rio Rancho, New Mexico where Justin works as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and I pursue my PhD in Nursing while being a stay at home mom! Life is so chaotic but we really couldn't ask for a more perfect life!

Heart day!!!

This is for Justin - he has my heart.

I love you because you are the only person who can make me laugh with just one look.
I love you because you are the only person who knows what I'm thinking before I do.
I love you because you are the only person who will constantly play the "Who does that look like" game.
I love you because you let me rant and rave.
I love you because you challenge me.
I love you because you can put me in my place when I need it.
I love you because you get me.
I love you because you frustrate me.
I love you because you make me want to be the best I can be.
I love you because you make me smile.
I love you because we spend every waking (almost) moment together and it's never enough.
I love you because I can tell you ANYTHING.
I love you because you'll usually go along with my hair-brained schemes.
I love you because you are the only person who knows every minut detail about me.
I love you because the you find the things about myself that I find annoying to be cute.
I love you because you let me run the humidifier each night.
I love you because you take care of me.
I love you because you have consented to "Friday Chili's nights"
I love you because you have my heart.
I love you and you love me.

oh what boredom will do.....

So I'm sitting here in class and I'm bored out of my mind....some lady rambling about attachment. I spent the past 15 years of my life with this stuff and so having to sit through a class about it YET again is killing me!!! I guess that's what happen when you go to school TOO much! Anyhoo.....I'm doing this "tag" which is to go into my picture folders and post the 4th picture and describe it....so without further ado....

This is a picture from the UT game -- This is of them warming up pre-game!! We try to make it to at least 1 UT game in Austin per year, and sometimes this works out a little better than other times, but YAY this year we were able to go!

A few of my favorite things....

Here is a list of my current top ten Fav's (in no particular order):
10: Boyce Avenue: If you havent heard them then you best be getting to iTunes or Napster - Word!

9. Whole wheat hamburger buns --- it takes a Chili's Big Mouth burger from like 900 calories to like 450 calories --- Now that's amazing!!!

8. Headphones -- Nothing lets you ignore people with an excuse quite like headphones do!

7. I ate at Chick-Fil-A for the first time in my life last week - I've now been back 3 times in the past 5 days (one of those 5 days was Sunday and they are closed on Sundays).

6. Boogie SuperStar -- Comes with a microphone that I can use to sing at the top of my lungs in my house while wearing my pajamas. Enough said.

5. CO Bigelow Lip Gloss from Bath and Body works: I hate lipstick -- so this is awesome because it comes in clear and tinted. It also tastes SUPER Yummy!!4. My converse shoes -- I've wanted a pair for as long as I could remember. For Christmas Justin's parents got me a pair!! Woo Hoo!!!!!

3. Index Cards --- I love them. Period.
2. My new Nike watch -- It's super snazzy and I get lots of compliments on it.

It happened long ago....but I'm just posting it now!

We went to the UNM v. BYU basketball game a few weekends ago at the PIT. We showed up in all our BYU regalia and proudly cheered on the Cougars. Too bad someone forgot to tell them that they were playing in a REAL game because they played horribly!!! They got killed by nearly 20 points and so we sulked up the steps of the PIT, and had to do "The walk of shame." Ahhhhh!!!!! But we had a lot of fun, and they had nachos there which always makes for a good time in my book!
This guy was hilarious.....He must have really wanted to make fun of Mormons because it was SUPER hot in the PIT and he was probably a little uncomfortable in his little suit!!
