Ok....so here's....a breakdown of yesterday!! Because I know you all are waiting with baited breath!!
900-1200 --- Went to work and saw 2 clients - uneventful
1200-130---- Went to UNM Hospital for an interview. This was quite eventful - we got there early (thankfully) and utilized the new patient/visitor parking garage they've built. Ummm....it was so small that 2 cars could not pass simultaneously. This created a LOT of chaos in a really small, dark, and confined space. Not a pretty sight. Thankfully we made it out a live and unscathed....

230-400 -- Studying for a final exam -- NOT fun!
400-550 --- Took final exam - We had to go to the campus testing center for this...you go in a small small room with like maybe 8 desks. I began the test and was feeling confident until I heard a rustling --- some girl broke out a package of candy and was eating it during the test. It totally got me distracted and ANGRY. Then the girl behind me was slamming down a calculator on the desk each time she used it. I need total silence when I'm testing (I think it's the ADHD) and this was not working. Finally the candy girl left and the calculator slammer moved on to non-calculator using problems because her slamming stopped. I don't think I did great but I only needed a 15 on the test to pass and I'm pretty sure I at least got that!!!
550-650---went home to get ready for the concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got my camera, printed out our tickets, freshened up, etc...Justin said there was no need to leave so early because no one was going to be there ....HA! We got to the Santa Ana Center (out in the middle of nowhere) and there were tons of cars...more than we've ever seen at an event there!
650-800--- got some popcorn and a Sprite and found our seats --- I sat by this lady and a lady that appeared to either be her mom or her grandmother (very nice) and Justin sat by this drunk couple who fought through the first half of the concert and made out during the second half!!! Woo hoo!!!!!!
800-845 ish ---- OPENING ACT --- They were called Naturally 7 and they were AMAZING. They use only the human voice/body as instruments. One guy makes drum sounds, the other makes bass guitar sounds, the other electric guitar sounds etc....They each demonstrated their skills individually so you could see what they do individually - then they put it all together and it was amazing. Everyone was totally blown away by them. You can check them out on myspace (Search: Naturally Seven) or youtube. We have one of their songs playing on our myspace so check it out.
845-900 ish---Waiting not so patiently----people took this opportunity to get up and buy more alcoholic beverages. I think Justin and I and the people beside me were the only people not drinking in the whole place. During this time some man picked up his drink and promptly spilled it on the lady in front of him......she was very upset to say the least. He got up and returned with some napkins to clean himself and his seat off, but nothing for the lady he spilled on.
900 ish to 1050 --- MICHAEL BUBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was a little nervous because his music isn't flashy so I wondered how his concert would be in terms of entertainment value. It was awesome!! He is so funny, so charismatic, and had all the 45+ ladies swooning!! Everyone was singing along....laughing.....it was a fun fun time. During one of his songs (a love ballad) the whole place was dead silent except for one lady who kept screaming "I LOVE YOU MICHAEL' then at the end he said "During that song I thought the biggest mistake I made in the recording studio was not having someone yelling in the background I LOVE YOU MICHAEL I LOVE YOU MICHAEL ... I know everyone around me hates me and I'm annoying but I'm going to yell any way." Hilarious because it was rude....my kind of guy!! He jumped off stage and ran into the swarm of women who literally attacked the poor guy. He emerged with lipstick all over his face. Then he said, "This song goes out to all the guys in the audience.." then he sang YMCA and this guy in the audience starts lifting up his shirt (not the best physique either) and slapping his butt -- we died laughing it was the funniest thing ever!! After his main set he returned for 2 encore songs, Thanked everyone for spending their hard earned money and their time to come see him...he sang the end of the song without a microphone and you could hear him clear as day, and it made the song seem even more personal. It was just great AND Justin even said that he liked it. He said (and I quote) "I thought it was great...I guess I'm officially getting old." awww.....rude but nice.....I'll take it!! So here are the pics from the night!!! Enjoy!!!!
